What’s Behind the Design of the Malcolm X Mug
Our goal with the design was to create something bold, simple, and timeless. The design begins with the bold “X” in the center of the cup highlighting Malcolm’s emancipation from the slave master’s lineage. The “X” is then flanked by the number “519” which symbolizes Malcolm X’s birth date of May 19th, 1925.
